MEMORANDUMOF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA AND THE INSTITUTE FOR DIPLOMATIC STUDIES OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT ON MUTUAL COOPERATION("Off. Herald of RS - Treaties", No. 15/2018) |
The Diplomatic academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, hereinafter "the Parties"
Taking into account the willingness to encourage and strengthen the friendship between their respective States,
Recognizing the importance of strengthening and consolidating the academic exchange between the Parties,
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The parties shall cooperate to promote the following activities:
1. Exchange of information and expertise related to programs of study and research, various courses, seminars, as well as other academic activities and training.
2. Support the exchange of contacts and students, diplomats, academics, officials, experts and researchers.
3. Studies, research and exchange of national and international specialized information in fields of mutual interest.
4. Exchange of information and points of view regarding directives and international developments on training, research and studies in diplomacy, and participation in international meetings in academic and research institutions and private centers related to diplomatic academies.
5. Joint seminars in both countries.
6. Other forms of cooperation within the framework of the present Memorandum of Understanding. (referred to as MOU)
Article 2
Representatives of the Parties will determine the appropriate financial and administrative procedures to achieve the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding "MOU" according to the budgets available to each party.
Article 3
The Parties shall organize joint activities with other parties on subjects of mutual interest, after consultation between them.
Article 4
1. The present MOU shall enter into force on the date of its signature.
2. This MOU is concluded for a period of three (3) years, automatically renewable for equal periods.
3. Any differences and disputes that may arise from the interpretation or implementation of the present MOU will be settled amicably through direct consultations between the Parties.
4. Either Party may terminate this Memorandum of Understanding at any time, by giving a written notice sent through diplomatic channels, ninety (90) days in advance of the date of termination of the MOU.
5. The termination of this MOU does not affect the ongoing projects, programs, or activities unless the parties decide to do so.
